Laurens Place

Welcome to Lauren’s Place

Lauren’s Place was born in June 2014 after the tragic and public death of Lauren Johnson, aged 17, from Oswaldtwistle, Accrington who fell from the highest point of the Accrington Arndale Centre.

At Lauren’s Place we are aiming to set up a Support Centre to help people with mental health issues, create projects for 16-18 year olds, face to face signposting services for all ages and make a difference to lives in and around the Accrington area.

We believe with time, commitment and dedication we can make this happen. Please support us in any way you can.

Lauren’s Place is open Wednesday at the Elysium Centre in Great Harwood from 7pm to 9pm, and one Saturday a month for Wellbeing Workshops.

Outside of these times, if you feel you need to contact somebody, please call one of the support networks below:

Hi we have tried emailing you but you haven’t replied. We are Amy, Hannah, Zainab, Mark and Raheem, 5 year 9 students at BRGS. We are intetested in representing your charity in a competition within school. If we win, the prize would be £1000 to go towards Lauren’s Place. We are inspired by your charity and really want to help. If you could reply to this or e-mail me a telephone number we could call to ask you a few questions, we would be grateful. Thank you.
